The Durham Performing Arts Center is booked and operated in partnership between PFM of Providence, R.I., and the Nederlander Organization, which owns or manages more than 30 Broadway theatres in New York and across the country.

Tickets for the 2008-2009 season of Broadway Carolina (http://www.DPACnc.com) are now on sale online. Included in this premiere season: "Rent" featuring two original cast members; current Broadway blockbuster "Legally Blonde The Musical;" as well as "Fiddler on the Roof" with original cast member Chiam Topol; and the North Carolina premiere of Oprah Winfrey's "The Color Purple." The Durham Performing Arts Center (http://www.DPACnc.com) is a 2,800 seat multi-use theater currently under construction downtown in the American Tobacco District, adjacent to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
