CLUE Bar Announces New Website

Del Mar (PRWEB) July 24, 2007 -- Del Mar Nutrition announced today that their new website is live.

Del Mar Nutrition is pleased to announce that their new website is now operational. After months of rewriting and restructuring, CLUE Bar now has a new web home. The Del Mar Nutrition group recognized the need for an updated version of their old site. They chose the Grip Design team in Chicago to redesign the site. "The modern web user wants information quickly and simply. Our old site was a challenge to navigate," said Abel Rodriguez, operations manager at Del Mar Nutrition.

CLUE Bar is the nutrition bar developed to help lower cholesterol and contribute to overall cardiovascular health. With an ever-increasing active population focusing on healthier lifestyles, there has been a worldwide emergence of a new category of food products referred to as "functional foods." These are foods with natural ingredients that add health benefits and help prevent disease. Consumers are just beginning to become aware of these fabulous foods. CLUE Bars are one of these functional foods. CLUE Bars contain soy protein, oats, spirulina, chlorella, bee pollen, walnuts, and canola oil, all products known to help lower cholesterol.

In 2002, Andy Gloor, the mind behind the bar, struggled with reducing his cholesterol. Diagnosed with high cholesterol at the age of 28, he was reluctant to commit to a lifetime of strong medication. He was amazed at the lack of natural alternatives on the market. After researching foods that reduce cholesterol he decided to build a bar that could include the ingredients that reduce cholesterol naturally. He developed CLUE based largely on soy protein, oats, walnuts, spirulina, chlorella, bee pollen, and canola oil. He reduced his own fat intake, increased his exercise, and ate a CLUE Bar a day. In two months his cholesterol was down below 175 where it has remained to this day.

CLUE is making life easier for their regular customers with the online CLUE CLUB, where anyone can place an order so fresh bars arrive monthly on your doorstep. For information on CLUE Bar or to learn more about the dangers of high cholesterol, call 888-LDL-DOWN (888-535-3696) or log on to www.cluebar.com.

The Basics Of Website Design
When you are on the Internet, you cruise websites for certain kinds of information. You may know of a website that you are familiar with, or you may have to type in a keyword, to find the website that you need. No matter what website you find, the premise is the same, you find information on it and your browser displays this information. How does your browser know what to display? It goes by code. Your browser was created to recognize HTML (HyperText Markup Language). This is code is what the browser recognizes. When you type in the web address (URL) of the website you want to see, the browser finds the web page and reads the code associated with that page. It then displays the results on your screen.
